Glenn Stith
Seminis President

Glenn Stith was named Seminis President in May 2008. Previously, he was the vice president of crop production at Monsanto, Seminis’ parent company, where he was responsible for U.S. businesses that included chemistry, traits and seeds. Stith joined Monsanto in 1985 and served in a variety of sales, marketing and commercial development positions in both U.S. and international markets. He is a graduate of the University of Saskatchewan with a bachelor’s degree in business and has his master’s degree from Washington University.

Pierre Courduroux
Chief Financial Officer

Pierre Courduroux joined Seminis in 2007 as Chief Financial Officer. Previously he was the Finance Director for Monsanto’s Europe & Africa region. Mr. Courduroux joined Monsanto in 1990 and has served in a variety of finance positions in both the US and international Markets. He is a graduate of The Lyon Graduate School of management and has his MBA degree from Washington University

Marlin Edwards
Vice President, Research and Development

Dr. Marlin Edwards joined Seminis in 2005 as the vice president of company’s global research organization. Most recently, he led Breeding Technology at Monsanto, where he developed the world’s foremost high-throughput genotyping lab. This allowed as much as 35% of Monsanto’s plant breeding programs to be based on genetic marker-enabled selection. Dr. Edwards has been involved in multiple aspects of agricultural research, plant breeding and biotechnology since he completed his post-doctoral research at North Carolina State University, where he conducted pioneering research into the application of molecular markers in plant breeding in the mid-1980s. He has experience in breeding field corn, sweet corn, peppers and cucumbers. He earned a Ph.D. in Plant Breeding and Genetics, a M.S. in Horticulture from the University of Wisconsin at Madison and a B.S. in the Agriculture Honors Program from Kansas State University.

Ibrahim El Menschawi
Vice President of Strategy and Marketing

Mr. Ibrahim El Menschawi, who joined Seminis in 2006, leads the company's strategy and marketing organization, including product portfolio management, market intelligence and branding strategies. He has held various leadership positions in the seed industry during his 16-year career, most recently as the Europe/Africa marketing lead for Monsanto Europe. Prior to joining Monsanto, he held sales, marketing and general management roles at one of Seminis' legacy vegetable seed companies. Mr. El Menschawi earned his degree in Agricultural Engineering (BSc.) from the University of Nuertingen, Germany.

Bill Hallman
Vice President, Manufacturing

Bill Hallman joined Seminis in 2006 as Vice President, Manufacturing. Previously, he was the Director of Manufacturing in Monsanto’s Asia-Pacific region. Mr. Hallman joined Monsanto in 2000 and has served in a variety of manufacturing, production planning and inventory analysis positions in both U.S. and international markets. Prior to joining Monsanto he held production management positions with Cargill, Inc. in Iowa and Minnesota. He earned a B.S. in agricultural business from Western Illinois University and attended the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management.

Andrew Cole
Vice President, Human Resources

Aldo Noseda
Vice President, Information Technology

Aldo Noseda joined Seminis in 2005 as Vice President of Information Technology with global responsibility for all IT functions. Mr. Noseda has worked for Seminis' parent company, Monsanto, since 1991, holding a variety of positions in Latin America and the United States. For the last five years he was the IT Director for the Monsanto Latin America South region with extended responsibilities on the customer operations business team. He graduated as an Information Systems Engineer with an executive program in Business Administration from IAE University.

Melissa Duncan
General Counsel

Ms. Melissa Duncan was named General Counsel in 2007. Duncan joined Monsanto in 2000, and she has held a variety of positions within the legal department, including litigation, international commercial, special projects, and most recently served as the Law Lead for Asia Pacific/India. Prior to joining Monsanto, Ms. Duncan was in private practice and represented a variety of clients in the agriculture industry. She earned a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and her J.D. from Drake University.


Regional Vice Presidents

Sebastian Langbehn
Americas
Regional Lead
Sebastian Langbehn joined Seminis in 1998. He has served in a variety of positions as a General Manager for Argentina and Brazil, Regional Commercial Director, and General Manager for South America. Langbehn has an agricultural engineering degree from the Universidad de Buenos Aires, and an MBA from Universidad Adolfo Ibañez - School of Business Administration in Santiago, Chile with a focus on finance and marketing.

Jorge Christlieb
Vice President, Asia

Mr. Jorge Christlieb was appointed Vice President of Asia in 2005 after serving as Vice President of Marketing. Since he first joined one of Seminis' legacy companies in 1987, he has held a number of leadership positions in sales, product development, quality assurance and general management in Mexico and Holland. He earned his master's degree in Horticulture/Genetics from North Carolina State University.

Thierry Boyer
Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) Regional Lead
Thierry Boyer has been with Monsanto for 19 years and has held various positions in sales and marketing across Europe and also in the U.S.  Boyer holds an agricultural engineering degree from ESAP, Toulouse, France. In his previous position as the Eastern Europe Area Lead for the Monsanto row crop business, Boyer defined and implemented the commercial strategy to focus and grow Monsanto’s business in rapidly emerging Eastern European countries.
