Seminis seeds are grown in 25 countries, following the seasons in the northern and southern hemispheres. This geographic diversity allows Seminis seeds to be grown under ideal conditions year-round. To safeguard supplies, we maintain production capabilities for every product in at least two locations.

The company has developed specialized processes and proprietary software systems to plan and track the quantity and quality of our seed. Production is organized among numerous species, ranging from labor-intensive hybrid crops, such as peppers and tomatoes, to machine-planted and harvested seed crops, such as peas, beans and sweet corn. Rigorous processes in the field and afterwards are designed to minimize the risk of seed-borne diseases and ensure that seeds have the purity and high germination that growers require.
