Alicante is a bush bean well suited for the gourmet fresh market. Its pods are round, dark green, and average 5.5 inches long. Seed quality is excellent. Alicante has shown very good yield potential and is resistant to bean common mosaic virus and Anthracnose. Sets are concentrated high on its upright plant.
