Seminis Protected Culture

Seminis, the vegetable seed division of Monsanto, is the world’s leading developer, producer and marketer of vegetable seeds. Seminis was formed in 1995 through the merger of three industry-leading international vegetable seed companies – Petoseed, Royal Sluis and Asgrow Vegetable Seeds. In 2005, Seminis became part of the Monsanto Company. Seminis operates in 150 countries and territories around the world.

Seminis has long been an industry leader in the protected culture market, particularly in Europe where its products were previously marketed under the Bruinsma Seeds brand. Now, working closely with North American greenhouse growers, Seminis is breeding varieties to provide growers with new solutions to satisfy their unique needs and to provide consumers with new healthy choices.

Seminis offers a versatile range of tomato, sweet pepper and cucumber varieties to fit the individual needs of greenhouse growers in Canada and the United States.
