An All-America Selections award winner, Fanfare hybrid cucumber features a compact yet vigorous plant that produces high-quality fruit over a longer period of time than other compact varieties. With an average of 62 day maturity, Fanfare offers home gardeners an extended harvest season - it starts producing early and continues after others stop. A very disease resistant monoecious hybrid, Fanfare has semi-dwarf plants with short internodes that stay in check while yielding an abundance of uniform, slim, dark green, flavorful cucumbers in the 8-9" range. Due to its compact vines, this hybrid can be planted at closer row spacing than normal cucumbers.
