Varieties:
Holland is a hybrid slicing, genetic non-bitter, parthenoocarpic type for greenhouse growing. You've seen this type individually wrapped and sold in the market as imported hothouse cucumbers. The vigorous vine should be trellised or supported for straight fruit. Harvest at about 13" long by 1" wide. Use them fresh off the vine, there's no need to peel - simply slice for salads and sandwiches.
