Anchos are among the mildest of hot peppers, measuring between 500-1000 scoville units. Try Ancho San Martin roasted, peeled, and cut into strips on sandwhiches, or chopped and used as a topping for nachos, beans & rice, or eggs. Ancho San Martin is earlier than the OP at 75 days after transplant. Plants are hardy and set well.
