You might want to call Pritivit a tomato-pepper, a stuffing-pepper, a topepo type or just plain cute. These squat little peppers measure 2.5 inches tall by about 4 inches wide and have deep ribs. They mature to a dark red in about 75-80 days. They are common to produce markets in Europe, but you just don't see them here. The thick walled fruit are sweet and crisp, so tasty that you might want to plant a few extra for snacking on in the garden. If they do make it to the kitchen chop them up for salads, or mix them into soup or sauces. The thick wall means they stand up well to cooking while retaining their flavor. Pritivit can also be stuffed and baked or hollowed out and used as a single serving bowl for cottage cheese or tuna-salad.
