Caspian Pink was discovered near the Caspian and Black seas and selected for its excellent flavor. Large, flat, rough and green-shouldered (ripen from the bottom up) fruit are a delicate pink color with absolutely knockout flavor. Fruit average 10-11 ounces when the indeterminate plants are pruned. By the time the shoulders have turned pink, the flesh is super soft, juicy, and succulent-perfect in other words. Fruit set is not as good as you would expect from a hybrid, but you'll love the tomatoes you get in about 80 days from transplant. Plant Caspian Pink to experience one of the most delicious heirloom tomatoes around.
