Sunsugar

Tomato Varieties:

Sunsugar

Bet you have never tasted a sweeter tomato than SunSugar! Really! Sunset Magazine named SunSugar as the best tasting cherry tomato in their trials. SunSugar rated higher in sweetness, rich tomato flavor, and good sweet-tart taste than classics like Sweet 100 and Supersweet 100 (March 2004, pg. 74). This golden-yellow cherry claims a brix reading as high as 10. Not only is SunSugar sweet, but the breeder was able to add crack resistance while retaining thin skin making for an all-around pleasant eating experience. The plants are vigorous and indeterminate and mature about 62 days from transplant.
